The 1st night we got their we went out to my parents land and got to see the animals and the progress on their house that they are building. There are cats in the barn and one of them had just had brand new baby kittens. We are not cat people, but anything that tiny is pretty darn cute. The kids thought so too.
We didn't ride Sunny that night, but Hannah Grace was happy to see her none the less. Bennett likes her but wanted to have nothing to do with riding on her (more on that to come). HG is for sure our animal lover.
Sunday morning we went to a large church in West Des Moines my parents like to visit often. After we headed to Saylorville Lake for lunch. My dad always loves to go there- even if we were in our Sunday attire while everyone else was in their boating gear =) The kids love to feed the fish- they are big and creepy and swarming. I just stand back because the thought of them falling into that yucky water and swarm of fish freaks me out. My mom took all these pics- except for the one of her and Bennett of course, that was me from a distance behind =)
