B's Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Bennett Boy! (Even if I am a couple days late posting- I'm sure you won't hold it against me!) I can't beleive you're two years old already! As I mentioned before your birthday fell during a crazy time this year with a five day old, but we wanted to celebrate you even if it was very low key. We had a couple toys for you to open, all of which you were scared of at 1st ha! Luckily you warmed up to them pretty quickly.

At two years old you:

• Love the ladies. You are a big momma's/gramma's/aunt's boy!!!
• You have an absolutely ridiculous vocabulary. You repeat everything you hear and remember it pretty much after the 1st time.
• We are so impressed by how smart you are- not just by all you say, but the way you make the connection of how things work and can then vocalize it.
• You are VERY strong willed. If you have made up your mind about something, there really isn't much we can do to change it.
• You like to use the "no" word on mommy and daddy-but after getting vinegar sprayed in your mouth one time this week for it, we have already seen marked improvement. =)
• You are our affection one. You are so generous with hugs and kisses and we love it.
• You have recently taken up singing. I hear you singing with your sister all the time and do such a good job with the words and the tunes of songs.
• We can already see memorizing is going to come very easy to you!
• When you get in trouble, it's not better until you give us a big hug, then you are ready to stop crying.
• You don't like being dropped off places. It is always hard to leave you at church, etc. as you scream your head off every time!
• We can ALWAYS get a smile out of you (other than when you are throwing a tantrum, obviously) Otherwise, you are an easy egg to crack!
• Your big sister is your best friend. Anytime she is not around you run around the house calling her name and looking for her.
• You love to read books and I find you on a regular basis sitting in a pile of books reading to yourself.
• You have more personality than your 29 pound body can contain I think, making you difficult at times =) but such a joy and so much fun to be around. There is never a shortage of laughs with you in the room!

We love you Bennett and have loved every second of you in our lives for the past two years and can't wait for many more!!!
