So we continued our journey on to the great state of Iowa to visit my parents. On the way we saw and experienced just a few things that I couldn't resist including on here. So here is my list...
You Know Your In Iowa When...
1. You accidentally pass a gas exit with a quarter of a tank of gas still left, and seriously fear running out of gas before making it to the next gas stop.
2. When worrying about running out of gas you think, maybe all this corn could make enough gas to get us there.
3. You go under an overpass with graffiti all over it... the graffiti says "Happy B-Day"
4. You can't tell whether the smell in your car is coming from outside or the kids in your back seat.
5. The scariest story on the news is about an animal on the loose.
6. You don't want to go to the grocery store with make-up on because you might be over dressed.
7. You can go to a movie for $5.
8. You are surrounded by good people who love the simple life.
